As a Security Officer Patrol Guardian in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

A guard card or license is preferred.
Pepper spray certification is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by carrying out site-specific procedures, following post orders, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or unusual activity in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, local authorities, and/or designated personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe conditions that may require attention.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify access permissions when required, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations in accordance with site procedures.
Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in written reports, logs, and/or electronic systems, and assist with routine inquiries while maintaining a professional presence at the location.
