Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Site Rover in Huntersville, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive finance location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will document observations, support access control and visitor interactions, and communicate clearly with teams and stakeholders. Requirements

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific procedures, access control requirements, and other security-related policies, and/or supporting emergency response activities when needed.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting on-site leadership and/or public services as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of office areas, parking lots, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance or security-related concerns.
  • Monitor security-related systems such as CCTV, visitor logs, and badge access activity, and report unusual conditions according to post orders.
  • Document shift activity, patrol findings, and incident response actions in written reports and communicate key updates during shift turnover.
