Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Site Rondier in Glendale, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will assist staff, patients, and visitors with clear communication, access support, and responsive customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a hospital setting.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with clinical staff and/or local responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, corridors, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or policy concerns.
• Control access by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials when required, assisting with visitor directions, and helping to maintain orderly lobby and waiting area conditions.
• Document patrols, incidents, and policy violations in written reports and/or electronic systems, and promptly communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.
