About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Site Patrol in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require attention.
• Monitor access points, assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures, and report suspicious activity, unsecured areas, and/or policy violations in accordance with post orders.
• Complete routine reports and daily activity logs, documenting incidents, observations, and security-related concerns for Allied Universal and property management review.
