About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Site - Overnight Shift in Gastonia, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must possess a valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.
• Must have prior supervisory experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related incidents.
• Document and report any irregularities, suspicious activities, or security-related concerns observed during patrols or while monitoring access control points.
• Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related matters specific to the automotive environment.
