About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Roving Driver in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aero and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly with site personnel and visitors, document observations, and respond to situations with professionalism and strong customer service. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver’s license to move between patrol areas as needed.

Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to on-site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalating issues and requesting assistance from appropriate parties as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production or hangar areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Control access by verifying identification and/or authorization, monitoring entry and exit points, and directing visitors to proper check-in processes per site requirements.
  • Complete required reports and logs, document unusual activity, and communicate observations to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
