As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced technology location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through clear communication, timely reporting, and professional response to concerns. Requirements
- Have 1 or more years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, lobbies, loading areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or visitor authorization, and directing guests, vendors, and employees according to site procedures.
- Complete required documentation such as patrol activity logs and incident reports, and communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and/or client representatives.
