As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and your Allied Universal team, and respond to concerns with professionalism and customer service. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor and contractor check-in and/or directions in accordance with location procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as directed.
• Complete required reports and logs, communicate observations to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts, and support investigations by documenting events and preserving information.
