As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment within the retail location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail store and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or incidents to the appropriate personnel in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, and interacting with customers, visitors, and staff as needed.
Support loss prevention efforts by maintaining a visible presence and addressing situations in accordance with site procedures.
Complete required reports and documentation related to security-related activities and incidents as directed by Allied Universal policies.
