About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Residential Patrols in Falls Church, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a residential location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment for residents and visitors. Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• This position primarily involves driving responsibilities and is preferred for candidates comfortable with such duties.
• Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for residential locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and common areas to help to deter trespassing and/or property damage.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, maintenance issues, or unusual observations to the appropriate personnel.
• Work collaboratively with property management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns and support a welcoming environment for all residents.
