About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Property Patrol in MOORESVILLE, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine foot patrols, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist with badge processes as needed, and document observations using site systems. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following Allied Universal procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the proper chain of command.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter gates to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, checking identification and/or visitor logs, and directing employees, contractors, and visitors to the appropriate areas.
• Complete routine documentation such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and facility rounds reports, and communicate security-related observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
