Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Property Patrol Full-Time in Arlington, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated commercial real estate locations, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as they arise, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience are required.
An active Department of Defense Secret Clearance is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client contacts to address security-related concerns in the location.
Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and any interactions requiring attention.
Remain alert to surroundings and follow all post orders and site-specific instructions as provided by Allied Universal and the client.
Assist with access control and/or visitor management as required by site policies.
