As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the property by vehicle while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
This is primarily a driving post.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the overall security-related needs of the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and observe for unauthorized entry or suspicious behavior in and around the property.
Document and report security-related incidents, maintenance issues, and/or unusual observations according to Allied Universal procedures.
Work collaboratively with property management, tenants, and visitors to address questions and provide assistance as needed.
Remain alert and aware of the surroundings while on patrol to help to deter potential issues and maintain a visible presence throughout the location.
