About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Post - Full Time in Goodyear, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a high-tech data center location, you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and monitor access points and key areas. You will document observations using a computer or tablet, respond to calls for assistance, and deliver customer-focused communication while supporting a reliable, agile team that leads with integrity.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and/or emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, data hall areas as permitted, loading docks, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor alarms, CCTV, and access control activity as assigned, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with site lockdown steps, controlled entry procedures, and/or evacuation guidance as directed.
• Complete detailed reports on daily activities, patrol findings, and incident response, and communicate key updates to supervisors and oncoming personnel.
