Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Post - Weekdays in Crete, NE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a food and beverage production location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. You will conduct regular patrols, remain visible to support a sense of order, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication, all while upholding our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity in a food and beverage production environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a secure location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control procedures for employees, visitors, and vendors in accordance with site-specific guidelines.
• Support Allied Universal management and site leadership by following post orders and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location.
