As a Security Officer - Unarmed Post - Overnight Shift in Briarcliff Manor, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a DISPATCH professional with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while supporting smooth operations. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible, and interact with staff and visitors to provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and respond to calls and radio communications, dispatching security-related personnel as needed throughout the logistics and distribution location.
• Provide customer service by adhering to site-specific security-related procedures and policies, addressing inquiries and/or concerns from staff and visitors.
• Maintain accurate records of all incidents, dispatches, and security-related activities using appropriate documentation methods.
• Coordinate with on-site staff and management to relay critical information and instructions during incidents and/or emergencies.
• Assist in helping to deter unwanted activity by maintaining awareness of site activities and reporting any suspicious behavior or incidents promptly.
• Support Allied Universal and site leadership in executing emergency response activities as appropriate for the location.
