Join Allied Universal at a financial services location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access control and alarm response as needed, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements
- Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial services location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation, notification of site contacts, and coordination with local responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
- Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or authorization, manage visitor entry procedures, and document unusual activity to help to deter unauthorized access.
- Complete shift activity reports and incident documentation, and monitor security-related equipment such as alarms, cameras, and communications systems, reporting issues to supervision and/or the site contact.
