As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and reports with clear communication and customer-focused service. You will document observations, support access control procedures, and work as part of a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, always acting with integrity and putting people first.

Requirements

• Be 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Customer Service Experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a manufacturing location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and control entry and exit for employees, contractors, and deliveries by verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing traffic to designated areas.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed and assisting with orderly scene management.
• Complete detailed security-related reports and logs, document observations and incidents, and communicate shifts updates to site leadership and/or the next officer.
