As an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a secure atmosphere, and assist with access control. Requirements

EMT Certification is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR or first aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disruptions and provide a sense of security-related assurance to employees and visitors.
Assist with access control, verifying credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site-specific policies.
Document and communicate incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client protocols.
