About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Partner in Bristol, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this active role, you will support daily operations with integrity while working as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first.

Requirements

Have at least 1 year of law enforcement experience or at least 2 years of security-related supervisor or manager experience or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a manufacturing and industrial location.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and reporting activity to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production areas, loading and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor access requirements, and support badge, key, and/or vehicle control processes in accordance with location protocols.
Observe workplace conditions and equipment concerns that could impact operations, and communicate findings through required logs, reports, and/or shift pass-downs.
