About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Cookeville, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of security experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to alarms, access control concerns, and/or other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and public services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas such as lobbies, corridors, and ATM or night deposit areas, as well as exterior building and parking lot areas, as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity and/or unsecured doors, review assigned cameras or alarm panels when available, and document observations and incidents according to post orders.
• Complete routine reports such as shift activity logs and incident reports, communicate updates to Allied Universal supervision, and support client service needs within the scope of post instructions.
