Security Officer – Unarmed Patrol
About The Position
As a Security Officer – Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Monroeville, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to those on site. You will conduct routine patrols, offer exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the manufacturing and industrial location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Observe and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits at the location.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
- Support Allied Universal and client staff during emergency situations by following established protocols and directions.
