As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with tenants and visitors, providing outstanding customer service while monitoring the premises. Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing de-escalation techniques when necessary.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and along the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor the premises for unusual activity, reporting any concerns or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
Assist in controlling access to the property, verifying credentials, and directing visitors as needed.
Work collaboratively with property management and other staff to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.
Prepare and submit detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations as required.
