About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Irving, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. Requirements

Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter of the financial institution to help to deter unwanted activity.
Observe and report any suspicious behavior or incidents as outlined in Allied Universal protocols.
Assist visitors, employees, and/or clients with questions or directions as needed while maintaining a visible presence.
Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and law enforcement when necessary to address incidents or concerns at the location.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patrols, incidents, and/or irregularities according to site requirements.
