As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your presence and proactive approach will contribute to a secure environment for tenants and visitors. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding appropriately to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activity within the commercial real estate environment.
Communicate with property management and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related concerns, incidents, and/or maintenance issues observed during patrols.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with company and client requirements.
