As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for guests and staff. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with team members, store personnel, and visitors as needed.
Assist with access control and/or crowd management during busy periods or special events at the location.
Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation as required by Allied Universal and site management.
