Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - Full Time in Honolulu, HI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will greet guests and staff with professionalism, communicate clearly, and document observations and/or concerns. Requirements

Have at least 1+ years of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel and resort location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, and service-related requests, and escalate as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of guest areas, back-of-house spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Control access points by verifying credentials, monitoring entrances and exits, and directing guests and vendors to the appropriate locations.
Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, and report abnormal conditions or maintenance concerns through the established channels.
Provide visible presence in lobby, pool, beach, dining, and event areas as assigned, offering assistance and de-escalation support when issues arise.
Complete detailed reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, including documentation of lost and found or property damage when applicable.
Coordinate with hotel staff, engineering, and local emergency services when required, following post orders and site procedures.
Enforce site rules and policies in a respectful manner, including addressing loitering, unauthorized access, and disruptive behavior.
Support special events and group functions with perimeter checks, crowd guidance, and guest service as directed by post orders.
