Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, controlled areas, and perimeter locations to help identify suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance or access concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor access requirements, and help support access control practices common to an aero and defense location.
• Communicate with site contacts, employees, visitors, and public responders as needed to relay security-related information and help support orderly operations during routine and emergency situations.
