Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Darlington, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and strong communication skills will support exceptional customer service, while your driving responsibilities allow you to respond quickly throughout the site. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
You must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies at the location, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using established protocols to guide actions.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for any unusual conditions.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and reporting any irregularities.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address questions or concerns related to security-related matters.
Collaborate with Allied Universal management and site personnel to support a secure environment for all occupants.
