Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or members of the public by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols at a government location.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to the appropriate contacts.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and note potential concerns.
Monitor access points, verify identification and/or visitor information as required, and support authorized entry procedures based on site policies.
Complete routine reports, document daily activities, and communicate clearly with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related matters.
