About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Government Patrol in Pomona, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary depending on the location.
  • Observe and report any irregularities or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as directed by site policies.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required by incident response protocols.
  • Document all activities, observations, and incidents in daily reports according to Allied Universal and client standards.
