About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Government Patrol in Pomona, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary depending on the location.
Observe and report any irregularities or incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as directed by site policies.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required by incident response protocols.
Document all activities, observations, and incidents in daily reports according to Allied Universal and client standards.
