About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in Plano, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting site leadership and/or public emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access.
• Monitor access points and controlled areas, verify identification and/or credentials as required, and document entries, exits, and visitor activity per site procedures.
• Complete routine logs, incident reports, and shift handoffs, and communicate observed hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy issues to appropriate personnel.
