As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to concerns with calm communication, and deliver strong customer service to staff and visitors. Requirements

• Have 1+ years of Security Experience.
• Be 21+ Years of Age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet is preferred.
• Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of lobbies, teller lines, office areas, parking areas and the building perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify potential issues.
• Monitor access points and public areas, observe for unusual behavior and/or policy violations, and report concerns to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation support and coordination with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, inspections and visitor activity, and communicate timely updates to the appropriate contacts.
