About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol in West Palm Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Requirements

Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the healthcare environment.
Observe and report any security-related irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons on the premises.
Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including providing information and support to emergency personnel.
Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of activities, incidents, and observations during assigned shifts.
Communicate professionally with all individuals encountered during patrols, providing assistance as needed while upholding Allied Universal standards.
