Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents according to site protocols.
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as required by the location's policies.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or client representatives regarding security-related matters or emergencies.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner.
