As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment at a leading chemical and petrochemical location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the assigned premises, remaining highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service to all personnel and visitors. You will be counted on for your strong communication skills and your ability to respond promptly to situations as they arise. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and report any suspicious activity.
• Document observations and incidents in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
• Communicate clearly and promptly with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management as needed.
• Support site operations by assisting with access control, visitor management, and adherence to chemical and petrochemical facility protocols.
