Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, responding to emergencies as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm and problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Maintain detailed logs and reports of all security-related activities and observations during each shift.
Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement, as necessary, during security-related incidents.
Assist visitors and employees with directions and general information while maintaining a professional presence.
Monitor for irregular or suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns promptly to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
