Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a retail distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness and customer interactions. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Loss prevention experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations according to post guidelines.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, loading and receiving areas, and perimeter access points.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations, and report concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Support daily operations by assisting with badge or visitor verification, directing foot and vehicle traffic, and communicating security-related information to appropriate personnel.
