Requirements

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help to deter potential threats.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or unusual circumstances according to site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while representing Allied Universal at the location.
• Assist with emergency situations by following established protocols and coordinating with emergency responders as needed.
