Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by implementing security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, utilizing appropriate protocols for the location.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor access points and observe activities in and around the location, reporting any suspicious behavior or violations of site policies.
Maintain detailed and accurate reports of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client personnel to maintain a secure and welcoming environment.
Assist with security-related emergency response activities, including evacuations or lockdowns, according to site procedures.
