About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Westborough, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment through outstanding customer service and communication. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and respond to security-related situations with professionalism, reflecting our values of teamwork, integrity, and care for people.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
CPR and/or first aid is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Assist visitors and employees with directions and information as needed, maintaining a helpful presence at the location.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members to support a secure and welcoming environment for all individuals on site.
Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.
