As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. Your role includes conducting routine patrols, responding to situations as needed, and providing exceptional customer service and communication to tenants and visitors. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
A valid guard card or license is preferred.
Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance concerns encountered during patrols.
Collaborate with property management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related needs and provide assistance as necessary.
Document all incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Assist with access control procedures, including verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site-specific policies.
