As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts, and deliver customer service that reflects our caring, people-first culture. Requirements

• At least 1+ years of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and/or security-related protocols at a tech-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards, policy concerns, and/or unusual activity to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, lobbies, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entry points and restricted areas by checking credentials, verifying visitor authorization, and/or maintaining visitor and delivery logs according to site requirements.
• Complete detailed written reports on patrol findings, incidents, and/or client requests, and communicate key information during shift changes.
