Job Description As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Sentinel in Hebron, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a fast-paced tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors. You will document observations, respond to requests for assistance, and support a welcoming environment through customer service. Requirements
- CPR Certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients at a technology location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and communicate updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
- Monitor access points, verify identification and/or visitor credentials as required, and document entries, exits, and deliveries per site procedures.
- Complete accurate reports such as daily activity logs and incident documentation, and notify appropriate personnel of hazards, suspicious activity, and/or policy concerns.
