About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Security Clearance in Iuka, MS , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine patrols, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will document observations, communicate clearly with site contacts and/or responders, and deliver helpful customer service. Requirements

• Maintain an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, work areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Support access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification and/or badges, managing visitor check-in, and directing traffic according to site procedures.
• Complete timely security-related reports and logs, document unusual activity, and communicate observations to supervisors and/or client representatives.
