About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Rover in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institutions location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and access activity as needed. You will support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. Guided by our agile, reliable, innovative team, you will act with integrity and put people first.

Requirements

Have 1+ years of security experience.
Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
Alarm panel experience preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Access control or badge experience preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following site-specific procedures, assisting with directions and/or questions, and communicating concerns to appropriate personnel.
Respond to alarms, suspicious activity, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency responders when appropriate and following post orders.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout financial services areas, offices, parking areas, and building perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points and security-related systems such as cameras, badge access, and intrusion notifications, and report irregular conditions per site procedures.
Complete shift logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation accurately and promptly, and coordinate information handoff to oncoming personnel.
