As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will make routine rounds, stay highly visible, and help reduce security-related incidents through clear communication and quick reporting. You will support access control and visitor flow while delivering customer-focused service to employees and guests. Requirements

• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a tech and telecom location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior spaces, parking areas, loading areas, and the perimeter, noting irregular conditions that could help to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor processing, badge and/or credential checks, and directing individuals to approved destinations according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, disturbances, medical calls, and/or facility-related concerns, and notify appropriate contacts.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and service requests in written reports and/or electronic logs, and communicate updates to site management and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
