Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy government transportation location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors with professionalism and care. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, passengers, and staff by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or public agency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of platforms, station areas, parking locations, office spaces, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help support authorized access, observe public activity, and report suspicious behavior and/or policy violations.
• Complete required reports and document daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal guidelines and location procedures.
