About The Position

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Responder in Bristol, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Requirements

  • Have 1+ Years' Law Enforcement Experience OR 2+ Years' Security Supervisor/Manager Experience OR 3+ Years' Security Experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, offices, loading docks, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Control access by verifying identification, directing visitors and contractors, managing sign-in and/or badge processes, and documenting vehicle and delivery traffic as required by post orders.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders when needed.
  • Complete timely reports such as daily activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate observations to the site supervisor and/or management.
