As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, respond to alarms and/or calls for assistance, document observations, and deliver professional customer service with clear communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, labs, data and telecom areas, parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify identification and/or authorization when required and document unusual activity according to post orders.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including de-escalation and timely notification to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete accurate daily reports, incident reports and patrol logs, and communicate relevant updates during shift handoff.
